Senior Solutions Architect – Data & AI Engineer, German-Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and execution of scalable AWS architectures tailored for Data Platforms and Generative AI/Agentic AI solutions.

• Uphold security, performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness by adhering to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Document architectural decisions, including trade-offs made during the process.

• Convert business challenges into quantifiable technical requirements and clear goals.

• Enhance and evolve existing standards.

• Participate in technical pre-sales, project scoping, and the formulation of Statements of Work.

• Create Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions utilizing AWS Bedrock.

• Architect agent designs that incorporate tool usage, MCP-based integrations, and complex orchestration.

• Implement human-in-the-loop strategies with approval stages, escalation logic, and review cycles.

• Set up evaluation and quality assurance processes for LLM and agent systems.

• Advise clients on the sensible and ethical application of GenAI and Agentic AI.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor and facilitate technical workshops.

• Simplify intricate technology concepts into clear business advantages.

• Mentor junior team members.

• Assist in the development of internal standards, best practices, and training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cloud, data, software, or ML engineering, with at least 2 years managing end-to-end architectures.

• Strong practical expertise with AWS.

• In-depth experience in data engineering and ETL architectures.

• Background in Generative AI/Agentic AI projects.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Fluent in English.

• Professional proficiency in German.

• AWS certifications are advantageous.

• Experience in pre-sales or technical leadership is a plus.

• Background in consulting or customer-facing projects is a bonus.

• Familiarity with AWS Connect is beneficial.

• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or similar tools, is a plus.

• Experience in LLM customization, fine-tuning, and distillation is advantageous.

• Practical MLOps experience, encompassing model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management is desirable.

• Experience with Kafka/streaming technologies is a plus.
