This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Manage the technical relationship throughout the entire customer journey, both pre- and post-signature.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture and security assessments, proofs of value, and technical decision-making discussions.
• Broaden accounts by introducing additional workflows to both new and existing customers.
• Develop workflows, custom steps, and integrations with clients' GitHub or GitLab, Jira or Linear, Slack, and their current CI systems.
• Convert customer challenges and feedback into organized input for product and engineering roadmaps.
• Document deployments as reusable reference architectures, workflow templates, and systematic approaches.
• Address security questionnaires, conduct architecture reviews, respond to compliance inquiries, and provide RFP contributions.
• Conduct technical workshops and executive briefings tailored to specific audiences.
• Create workflows and architectures that align with customer environments and validate them through functional implementations.
• Share insights from initial deployments with the product line and empower partners and other architects to implement them.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical roles, with significant involvement in customer-facing architecture, including solutions architecture, principal or lead pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, professional services, or work as a founding engineer with design partners.
• Capable of coding and becoming productive within an unfamiliar codebase and CI setup within a few days.
• Proficient in at least one of the following: PHP and Symfony, JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Fluent in Git workflows, CI/CD, testing strategies, code review practices, release management, and understanding how these processes can fail at scale.
• Skilled in handling containers, environments, secrets management, cloud fundamentals, and production operations.
• Experience in building with AI agents, including multi-step agentic workflows, integrating tools and MCP, context engineering, evaluating and adjusting model outputs, and managing cost and latency tradeoffs.
• Familiar with governance, audit, and cost management in agentic systems.
• Ability to ground technical discussions in business outcomes.
• Demonstrated executive presence when interacting with engineering, security, and finance stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills for creating architecture documents, runbooks, and briefs.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and collaborating across different time zones.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada or the US.
