This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as a trusted advisor for GitLab prospects and clients in the ANZ region.
• Illustrate how GitLab's AI-driven DevSecOps platform meets technical needs and business goals throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Assist organizations in their digital transformation journey from planning to monitoring.
• Conduct technical discovery, demonstrations, validation processes, solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across ANZ to devise account strategies for customer acquisition and growth.
• Cultivate relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, helping them become advocates for GitLab.
• Provide advisory services to customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud best practices.
• Relay customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Develop reusable technical examples, best-practice recommendations, and collateral for customers and partners.
• Commit to ongoing learning, mentorship, and sharing of knowledge.
• Experience in engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation processes.
• Proficiency in the complete software development lifecycle, including contemporary DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or other similar platforms for source control, CI/CD, and collaboration.
• Capability to align platform features with customer use cases.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and associated technologies.
• Ability to discuss deployment, security, and operational options with technical teams.
• Experience leading proofs of concept or value, contributing to tenders or audits, and designing and executing workshops or value stream assessments.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills, tailoring messages for both practitioners and senior business and technical decision-makers.
• Expertise in fostering trusted relationships, actively listening, and serving as an advocate for customers.
