This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and APAC to conduct discovery calls, present product demonstrations, and address technical inquiries during the sales process.
• Provide tailored Flow Simulation demonstrations that address the specific challenges faced by prospects in sectors such as chemical processing, specialty manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, and utilities.
• Create and sustain Flow Simulation demonstration environments, use cases, and proof-of-concept projects.
• Assist the sales team with responses to RFPs and RFIs, and contribute to technical proposals.
• Facilitate Flow Simulation training, enablement sessions, and collaborative demonstrations for both regional and global technical partners.
• Design partner-oriented lunch-and-learn sessions, webinars, and demonstration scripts.
• Act as a technical resource for channel partners.
• Represent Datacor at trade exhibitions and industry conferences.
• Contribute to webinars, marketing product demonstrations, and content for demand generation.
• Identify and propose case-study opportunities to the Marketing team.
• Conduct live product presentations at events in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Work together on customer-focused lunch-and-learn sessions and product discussions to explore expansion opportunities.
• Achieve in-depth knowledge of the Flow Simulation product during the structured onboarding period.
• Gain familiarity with GoldSim and CHEMCAD to facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide Product teams with insights on feature gaps, competitive observations, and customer feedback.
• Partner with Marketing to develop vertical-specific messaging and campaign content.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a technical pre-sales role at a company focused on engineering software, simulation, or process technology.
• Proven ability to deliver software demonstrations to both technical and business audiences, including engineers, plant managers, and project teams.
• Strong skills in discovery and the capacity to identify pain points, connect them to value, and manage technical objections effectively.
• A degree in mechanical engineering.
• Practical experience in piping, such as piping system design, hydraulic analysis, or plant and pipeline engineering.
• Knowledge of pipe flow simulation and fluid dynamics software.
• Capability to work independently and juggle multiple concurrent engagements across diverse countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% across European, Middle Eastern, African, and APAC markets.
• Located in Europe or the Middle East with the legal right to work in that region.
• Experience with Datacor Flow Simulation products, additional background in chemical or process engineering, relevant industry experience, familiarity with GoldSim or CHEMCAD, experience with channel/reseller partners, and proficiency in German or French, Arabic, and CRM/webinar/demo platforms are strongly preferred but not mandatory.
