Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze and collect both business and technical requirements.

• Create and document tailored solutions.

• Participate in the development, design, integration, testing, and configuration of solutions.

• Ensure all solutions comply with architecture and security standards.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners.

• Identify integration points while evaluating the technical fit and feasibility of commercial-off-the-shelf versus custom solutions.

• Create and maintain technical design documents, workflows, and architecture diagrams.

• Establish and implement test strategies to validate solutions against business goals.

• Confirm integrations and document the steps for configuration.

• Identify and communicate technical dependencies and risks.

• Collaborate with vendors and IT service providers to resolve technical issues and enhance product functionality.

• Design and execute data migration solutions.

• Develop, design, test, maintain, and configure various solutions and systems.

• Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for assigned applications.

• Suggest enhancements to boost business process efficiency and promote the adoption of standard application features.

• Support ongoing improvement initiatives and identify enhancements in solution design or workflow efficiency.

• Assist technical and infrastructure teams with solution design and specifications.

• Ensure that outsourced work packages satisfy quality, schedule, cost, data privacy, security, performance, and scalability requirements.

• Engage in formal design, cybersecurity, and relevant code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree, university degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience is required.

• Intermediate level of relevant work experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required.

• Over 5 years of experience with Movex ERP systems implementations and managing complex application landscapes.

• Extensive knowledge of Movex Supply Chain and finance capabilities.

• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging system issues.

• Familiarity with system design and configuration to align with business requirements.

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders on solution gaps and incident management, including third-level production support.

• Ability to enhance knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and cloud computing.

• Understanding of the software development cycle and project management methodologies.

• Capability to design, develop, and implement best-practice solutions and improvements for Sales, Service, and Warranty processes.

• SAFe Agile certification and practical experience are preferred.

• A university degree or equivalent, or relevant work experience in a technical discipline is preferred.
