Senior Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Grasp the technologies, limitations, and various aspects of an application security program and its execution.

• Showcase the Veracode platform, its value proposition, and technology to potential clients, existing customers, and partners.

• Comprehend the business, security, and compliance challenges faced by the customer.

• Align Veracode solutions with the business and technical needs of the customer.

• Complete Requests for Proposals (RFPs), security questionnaires, and third-party security attestations.

• Articulate Veracode’s vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executives and technical management.

• Provide customer-focused feedback to internal product development teams to influence the future trajectory of the Veracode service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the application development sector.

• Familiarity with “Application Analysis” and “System Analysis” is advantageous.

• Experience in Application Penetration Assessments is a plus (including URL manipulation, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, back-end authentication, password management in memory, session hijacking, buffer overflow, web server configuration, credential management, Clickjacking, etc.).

• Practical experience with application security testing is preferred.

• Required experience in SDLC – Integration (CI/CD system integration), Application Servers, Database Architecture, and Network Architecture.

• Knowledge of shell scripting & Python, Java, JavaScript, and .NET (C# and ASP.NET) is desirable.

• A proactive problem solver who can effectively tackle challenges.

• Ability to collaborate with and inspire multiple teams to achieve objectives.

• An enthusiastic self-starter with a charming personality.

• Strong skills in customer engagement and relationship building.

• Capable of working effectively both independently and in team environments.

• Excellent listening and consultative, question-based selling abilities.

• Proficient in identifying business challenges and formulating tailored solutions to address them.

• Pre-sales experience with large enterprises and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) is a plus.

• Must be willing to travel as necessary (up to 25%) within the designated territory.
