
Senior Software Test and Evaluation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and oversee detailed test plans, test cases, and evaluation strategies for software systems.
• Establish testing objectives, success criteria, and evaluation methodologies.
• Ensure that testing activities are aligned with program requirements and adhere to industry standards.
• Direct the execution of functional, performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Conduct both automated and manual testing as needed.
• Document, analyze, and report on test results, identifying defects, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Maintain compliance with software quality assurance standards, best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
• Confirm that security, interoperability, and performance requirements are fulfilled.
• Assist in supporting continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by incorporating automated testing.
• DoD 8140 Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or evaluation.
• Proficiency with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman).
• Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of automated testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
• Experience using performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity testing, secure coding standards, and vulnerability assessment.
• Understanding of system integration testing, interoperability, and requirements validation.
