Senior Software Quality Engineer, Tech & Data Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold quality standards and objectives across our software systems, services, and applications.

• Create, develop, and sustain an effective automated testing environment while continuously informing the software engineering team about best practices.

• Work in close collaboration with Software Engineers, System Architects, Organizational Developers, UI/UX Designers, and product owners to deliver a superior product.

• Promote a robust testing culture throughout the organization to ensure that quality remains a primary focus.

• Collaborate with the support team to assess, evaluate, and prioritize incoming issues based on their severity and potential impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software quality engineering, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality products.

• Strong experience with contemporary web development technologies, including TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js, along with testing frameworks such as CodeceptJS, Playwright, or similar tools.

• A demonstrated history of working in an international environment, fostering a quality culture, and collaborating effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

• In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, practices, and tools, with experience in writing end-to-end, integration, and unit tests.

• Complete ownership of the defect life cycle, managing all stages from identification through resolution and prevention to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• A strong enthusiasm for software quality and a dedication to providing an outstanding user experience.

• Proficient in written and spoken English (C1+), with German being an advantage.
