Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Assists in the creation and design of a comprehensive automation system,

• Oversees each phase of the software development lifecycle to guarantee the quality and timely completion of our products,

• Anticipates the testing process and formulates test strategies,

• Regularly participates in internal client (partner) meetings to discuss the weekly updates with the project leadership team,

• Collaborates with departments that facilitate the infrastructure, implementation, and ongoing enhancements of our automation framework,

• Regulates both hardware and software prerequisites for test setup and ensures the quality of all test documents' content and structure,

• Reviews QA artifacts and reports prepared by Quality Assurance Engineers,

• Actively identifies and manages potential risks,

• Develops test strategies and adapts to new project requirements,

• Fosters a culture of continuous learning while contributing to the team's growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance,

• Have a proficient level of English that enables effective analysis of technical documents,

• Hold a comprehensive understanding of modern automated testing tools, frameworks, and processes,

• Experience with software testing processes and methodologies, including ISEB / ISTQB / TMAP,

• Familiarity with software tools utilized in functional test automation, such as Selenium (and possibly Appium, Locust & Jenkins),

• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Web Development tools, concepts, and methodologies,

• Solid experience with either Python or Java,

• In-depth understanding of the Agile Testing Process,

• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a keen interest in Quality Assurance,

• Be a proactive, self-directed individual who takes initiative when needed,

• Committed to enhancing productivity by continually automating aspects of the software test engineering process,

• Fluency in Turkish is considered a plus.
