Senior Software QA Engineer, Manual Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nepal.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing on emerging technologies.

• Identify and address straightforward quality process challenges with minimal supervision.

• Develop test scenarios and execute them throughout the testing phase.

• Detect bugs and document them using the bug template, providing adequate detail for developer analysis.

• Carry out API testing utilizing tools such as Postman or Swagger to verify request/response behavior.

• Communicate status updates to cross-functional teams.

• Perform designated tasks following established guidelines and assist in resolving problems with outlined solutions.

• Offer proactive support to the team.

• Master the discipline and use it for greater impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience utilizing manual testing tools and methodologies in an agile setting.

• Practical experience in manual API testing with Postman, Swagger, or comparable tools.

• Proficient in validating endpoints, status codes, and response payloads.

• Strong grasp of QA principles.

• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and lean/agile QA practices.

• Effective communication skills in English are essential.
