Senior Software QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Assists in the creation and design of a robust automation system,

• Oversees each phase of the software development lifecycle to guarantee quality and timely delivery of our products,

• Anticipates the testing process and formulates test strategies,

• Regularly participates in internal client (partner) meetings to discuss weekly updates with the project leadership team,

• Collaborates with departments that support infrastructure, implementation, and ongoing enhancements of our automation framework,

• Manages hardware and software specifications for test setups and ensures the quality of all test documents' content and structure,

• Reviews QA artifacts and reports generated by Quality Assurance Engineers,

• Actively identifies and mitigates risks,

• Develops test strategies and adheres to new project requirements,

• Fosters a culture of continuous learning while contributing to the team’s growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance,

• Hold a proficiency in English capable of analyzing technical documents without issues,

• Have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary automated testing tools, frameworks, and processes,

• Experience with software testing methodologies and processes such as ISEB / ISTQB / TMAP,

• Familiarity with functional test automation software tools like Selenium (and potentially Appium, Locust & Jenkins),

• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance and Web Development tools, concepts, and methodologies,

• Solid experience with Python or Java,

• In-depth understanding of the Agile Testing Process,

• A good grasp of Cloud Technologies and Kubernetes is advantageous,

• Be a genuine problem solver and demonstrate curiosity in Quality Assurance,

• Be a proactive and self-motivated individual who takes initiative when required,

• Committed to enhancing productivity by consistently automating aspects of the software test engineering process,

• Fluency in Turkish is a plus.
