This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the software development and delivery of NVIDIA’s DRIVE OS, AVOS, and NDAS programs during the long-term support phase, particularly focusing on all NDAS customer programs transitioning to mass production with Orin SoCs.
• Monitor all documented technical issues (bugs) associated with the ongoing engineering projects as well as field returns.
• Facilitate the root cause analysis for the identified issues.
• Keep track of bug resolutions, feature enhancements, and necessary safety and security patches that need to be implemented for all customer programs.
• Prioritize fixes for upcoming releases, oversee testing and validation, and ensure that all product release requirements (including safety certification and pertinent documentation) are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with NDAS, AVOS, and DriveOS product management teams to create a long-term (12+ months) release and feature roadmap for each primary software component.
• Work with cross-functional teams in India, Europe, the U.S., and South Korea to address program challenges and facilitate product launches.
• Assist customer teams in planning and launching new software releases for each customer program.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and first level of escalation for our customer programs and internal senior leadership, providing consistent updates and highlighting critical issues for management attention.
• Fundamental knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, LLMs, Transformers, CPU/GPU architectures, and related concepts.
• Basic understanding of program management principles (task planning, agile methodologies, risk management, etc.).
• A degree from a prestigious university or equivalent experience in an engineering or computer science discipline (BS; MS or PhD).
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive software development.
• Experience preferably in ADAS and AV sectors.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle systems, sensor technologies, vehicle bus communication standards, SoCs, and embedded software principles.
• General proficiency in C/C++/Python, QNX, and/or Linux OS.
• Understanding of build pipelines, repositories, CI/CD practices, and containerization.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex automotive programs to series production.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, along with strong time management and task prioritization skills.
