Senior Software Engineering Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Intelligent Solutions Architecture: Create and implement systems utilizing generative AI and agentic workflows to address real business issues for clients, emphasizing efficiency in time and cost.

• Technical Leadership in the AI Chapter: Promote AI governance, assess new market tools, and establish the team's standards for intelligent development.

• Performance Optimization: Ensure that AI solutions integrated within the current platform (Java/GCP) are robust, secure, scalable, and economically viable.

• Efficiency Metrics: Assist in quantifying the productivity improvements achieved through the use of GitHub Copilot and Claude Code within the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Core: Artificial Intelligence & AI Engineering (Primary Focus)

• Mastery of the AI stack on GCP: Extensive hands-on experience in implementing solutions using Vertex AI, Model Garden, managing and tuning LLMs (Gemini), and utilizing semantic/vector search tools.

• Agentic Workflows and Automation: In-depth knowledge in designing and orchestrating autonomous AI agents (agentic workflows), including linking LLMs to databases, external APIs, and facilitating complex decision-making.

• Maximizing Productivity with AI: Advanced proficiency and technical leadership in the integration of tools like GitHub Copilot and AI assistants to enhance team delivery efficiency.

• Backend as Foundation: Significant experience with Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot, concentrating on developing the microservices and APIs necessary to expose, integrate, and support AI models.

• Frontend Awareness (Angular 14+): Understanding of how to process and display AI responses in real-time (data streaming, conversational interfaces / predictive UI).

• Cloud & Infrastructure (GCP): Proficiency in scalable deployments utilizing Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and messaging services (Pub/Sub).

• Databases: Practical experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/Cloud SQL) and non-relational or vector stores (RAG structuring).

• Nice-to-haves:

• Claude Code Expertise: Advanced experience in using and customizing Anthropic's CLI for comprehensive automation of refactoring, testing, and navigating intricate codebases.

• Knowledge of Profitability and FinOps for AI: Awareness of the lifecycle costs associated with AI solutions (cost per token, latency, balancing open vs proprietary models) to ensure financial efficiency in projects.

• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex).

• Active Google Cloud certification (focused on Machine Learning Engineer or Cloud Developer).
