Senior Software Engineer, Web3 Initiatives – Backend-focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of CaaS web3 functionalities by developing secure and scalable blockchain systems for card-as-a-service, asset management, and various financial applications.

• Spearhead the discovery and development of wallet infrastructure by designing wallet solutions that align with Reap's product roadmap.

• Create backend services using Node.js/TypeScript to facilitate on-chain operations, collaborating closely with the backend engineering team.

• Work alongside product and business teams to transform concepts into precise and secure technical implementations.

• Play a key role in architectural decisions, code evaluations, and security assessments.

• Utilize AI tools and contemporary development methodologies to enhance engineering productivity and speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on backend engineering using Node.js/TypeScript and AWS or comparable cloud platforms.

• Proven experience in constructing wallet infrastructure, including hot and cold wallets.

• Strong product intuition and capacity to take full ownership of technical projects.

• Evidence of employing AI tools to enhance development productivity.

• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and dedication to maintaining high code quality.

• Experience in the fintech sector is preferred.

• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, cross-chain integrations, or account abstraction.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing smart contracts on Solana (Rust) or Ethereum (Solidity), with a strong proficiency in at least one and a willingness to work in a multi-chain setup.

• Understanding of financial systems or payment products, particularly related to card issuance or stablecoin-based payments.

• Previous startup experience where you have taken on multiple roles.
