Senior Software Engineer – Trusted Profile Analyzer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test innovative product features.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and software vulnerabilities.

• Ensure the quality of our products by engaging in peer code reviews and continuous integration (CI), while also addressing security threats.

• Collaborate with the Quality Engineering (QE) team to guarantee comprehensive testing in line with the testing strategy, ensuring the product meets release readiness standards.

• Actively partner with various teams, including Engineering, Quality Engineering (QE), Documentation, Product Management, Support, Product Security, Software Productization, and UXD, to enhance our product, processes, and customer experience.

• Work alongside Red Hat's Global Customer Support team and partner support teams to resolve customer issues effectively.

• Develop expertise in Secure Supply Chain, particularly regarding Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and vulnerability management.

• Assist internal RHTPA services managed through Site Reliability Engineering.

• Contribute to initiatives that energize and cultivate a community around upstream projects.

• Promote the team's achievements through blogs, online postings, or presentations at conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing applications using Rust.

• Familiarity with recent advancements in AI within software engineering, including AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor), MCP, and AI automation workflows.

• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.

• Experience with container ecosystems like Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift.

• Self-motivated with the capability to make strategic recommendations and influence product direction.

• Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding initiatives and supporting team members.

• Comfortable managing complex projects independently with minimal supervision.
