Senior Software Engineer – Storage Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Contribute to our storage platform that underpins the B2 Object Storage and Computer Backup offerings.

• Accountable for the secure storage of customer data.

• Assist in enhancing durability, boosting throughput, and implementing architectural modifications to meet the long-term needs of our service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, Rust, C++, C#, etc.) within an enterprise setting (personal projects not included).

• Proven experience in developing large-scale software systems that operate on thousands of servers.

• Proficient in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Demonstrates curiosity and strives to comprehend before proposing solutions.

• Utilizes analytical reasoning to address ambiguous challenges.

• Bonus points for expertise in Java or Rust.

• Bonus points for experience in creating and analyzing models, dashboards, or reports.

• Bonus points for knowledge of hard drive performance.

• Bonus points for understanding Linux internals and file systems.
