Senior Software Engineer – Saga, Voice OS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, deploy, and sustain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, AWS Amplify, and DynamoDB.

• Collaborate on the frontend utilizing TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Design and implement APIs employing both REST and GraphQL to facilitate flexible and scalable data access across services.

• Cultivate in-depth expertise in specific areas while remaining adept at exploring new sections of the codebase.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions, promoting a culture of transparency, curiosity, and collective ownership.

• Convert high-level product requirements into tasks that can be executed in parallel and released incrementally.

• Balance immediate deliverables with long-term investments in efficiency, scalability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience on a full-stack engineering team, responsible for building and maintaining production-grade services.

• Professional background with TypeScript, encompassing API development, backend service design, and system integration.

• Familiarity with creating user interfaces through reusable, composable components that emphasize clarity, encapsulation, and predictable state management.

• Demonstrated capability to enhance database performance through strategic schema design, query optimization, and indexing techniques.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate technical trade-offs within a collaborative, cross-functional setting.
