Senior Software Engineer, Remote Only

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish: identify the problem, develop the solution, deploy it, and ensure its effectiveness.

• Design server-side systems with a strong emphasis on performance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Draft behavior specifications prior to implementation — articulate what success looks like in machine-verifiable terms before writing any code.

• Facilitate design and code reviews that elevate the technical standards within the team.

• Recognize and initiate enhancements to team processes, tools, and engineering methodologies.

• Perform root cause analysis on intricate production challenges — dive deep to resolve the fundamental issue.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of advancing experience in software development.

• Proficient in AI-assisted development workflows — utilizing AI tools for brainstorming, specification, implementation, and validation; this is integral to our operations, not merely an advantage.

• Go — strong, proven proficiency in production environments; this is your primary programming language.

• Practical experience with Linux in production settings (CentOS, Debian, or similar), especially with the network stack.

• Familiarity with BDD or comparable behavior-driven methodologies for defining and validating software.

• Product-oriented mindset: you focus on outcomes rather than just tasks.

• Knowledge of Python, C, or Rust — familiarity or hands-on experience is highly advantageous.

• Understanding of network and web security (WAF, IDS/IPS, traffic analysis).

• Experience in developing AI-enhanced features or integrating machine learning into production systems.

• Familiarity with hosting platforms (cPanel, Plesk, nginx, Apache).
