Senior Software Engineer, Quality – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in developing, maintaining, and effectively utilizing automated tests, working closely with engineering teams to guarantee comprehensive test coverage for Payments features and releases, while actively contributing to the ongoing enhancement of testing processes.

• Partner with the CI/CD team to incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring complete test coverage at each phase of development.

• Exhibit exceptional troubleshooting skills, isolate issues, and validate bug fixes. Debug problems identified during testing and post-release.

• Be an integral member of our high-performance team, ensuring code quality, dedication to craftsmanship, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and other Quality Engineering (QE) teams, in a dynamic environment characterized by short release cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software testing and automation.

• Proven proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Java, Swift, Kotlin, Python).

• Strong practical experience with data structures and algorithms (DSA).

• In-depth knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

• Substantial hands-on experience with automation frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability in developing for testability and creating test automation frameworks.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Buildkite, Spinnaker, Jenkins) and version control systems (Git).

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions with cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in developing solutions for ambiguous problems and fostering integrations across multiple teams with significant impact.
