Senior Software Engineer, Python – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Gather technical requirements and assist in creating both high-level and low-level designs for software solutions utilizing AWS and Azure technologies.

• Develop production-quality Python and SQL code that adheres to stringent standards for maintainability, security, and observability.

• Design and maintain sophisticated, microservice-oriented, event-driven systems.

• Establish testing methodologies and automation throughout the technology stack.

• Engage in on-call rotations to ensure system health, performance, and reliability are upheld.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• More than 8 years of professional experience in software development.

• Over 4 years of experience in developing backend applications using Python.

• Comprehensive experience in the complete software development lifecycle.

• Proven track record in building intricate, event-driven, microservice architectures.

• Contribution to enhancing system reliability, observability, and security.
