Senior Software Engineer – Production Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of production operability by diagnosing intricate issues, enhancing system visibility, and eliminating root causes of recurring problems.

• Enhance mean time to detect (MTTD), mean time to resolve (MTTR), and recurrence rates for various issues.

• Recognize systemic issues and eradicate recurring problems through code modifications, architectural enhancements, and improved operational tools.

• Boost observability across services, including logs, metrics, and alerting, to facilitate quicker diagnosis and resolution.

• Collaborate closely with product teams to integrate production insights back into design and development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of software engineering experience with responsibility for production systems, reliability, or operational enhancements.

• Strong backend development skills (Ruby, Node.js, or similar technologies).

• Comprehensive understanding of REST APIs, service contracts, and software design principles.

• Experience working with backend services, APIs, and production systems.
