Senior Software Engineer, Platform Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Engineering Manager.

• Design, develop, and manage identity and account services, which encompass authentication, authorization, and user/team directories.

• Create scalable, highly available, distributed, and efficient platform services utilized by various engineering teams.

• Develop and sustain cross-product functionalities, including automation processes, analytics systems, and ticketing integrations.

• Take charge of and enhance the onboarding experience for connecting accounts from AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud providers.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, Design, and Quality Engineering teams.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve urgent issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, specializing in designing and delivering distributed, highly available services.

• Strong expertise in Go or Java programming languages.

• Practical experience with Postgres or other relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as NATS.

• Familiarity with AI coding agents (such as Claude or similar technologies).

• A proactive mindset towards learning how to utilize AI coding agents to enhance workflows.

• Capability to switch between high-priority projects and tasks within a distributed, remote-first team environment.

• Experience with SaaS applications.

• Proven track record of delivering large software projects from inception to completion.

• Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) integration is advantageous.
