Senior Software Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust integrations between our platform and external third-party systems.

• Guarantee scalability, reliability, and security within our AWS environment.

• Create and implement well-structured APIs and services that facilitate seamless data exchange across platforms, adhering to best practices in versioning, authentication, and error management.

• Develop and manage services on AWS utilizing strong CI/CD methodologies and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to ensure dependable, repeatable deployments.

• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for integrations.

• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and proactively strengthen systems to prevent recurrence.

• Leverage AI tools in daily development tasks (e.g., for code generation, debugging, test creation, and documentation) and assist in promoting effective AI adoption within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend or platform engineering, with a strong emphasis on system integrations, workflow orchestration, and API-driven solutions.

• Preferably skilled in Node.js + TypeScript, with extensive experience in building APIs and working with event-driven/serverless systems.

• Strong background in AWS and solid CI/CD practices (build/test/release pipelines, deployment automation, and managing production services).

• Proficient in using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) and familiar with the integration of LLM APIs (e.g., MCP, RAG).

• Practical experience with relational databases (AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design and ORM frameworks (TypeORM).

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to debug complex integration flows and resolve issues across multiple systems.

• Experience in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services integrations is a plus.
