Senior Software Engineer, NSG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the development and delivery of the production AI harness, incorporating assistant-style features such as agent loops, tools, guardrails, and evaluations, while facilitating developer automation and extensive migration tasks.

• Assume responsibility for comprehensive systems management rather than focusing solely on prompt-based or notebook-oriented tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing end-to-end distributed systems, which includes APIs, data models, storage solutions, caching mechanisms, queuing, and addressing failure scenarios along with scalability challenges.

• A solid foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, concurrency, networking, and databases, with a capability to thoughtfully evaluate latency, throughput, and consistency trade-offs.

• Proficient in writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, emphasizing strong API design, backward compatibility, and operational excellence.

• Practical experience with at least two of the following programming languages: Python, Go, or Java, along with the ability to read and modify code beyond your primary language when necessary.

• Familiarity with building and deploying production-grade agents using frameworks like LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents, or Pydantic-AI, including tool integrations, MCP servers (e.g., FastMCP), and multi-agent orchestration. Knowledge of Temporal, Pydantic, FastAPI, and related ecosystems is highly regarded.

• Proven track record in developing evaluation frameworks, tracing mechanisms, and regression safeguards for LLM-based systems.
