• As a Senior Software Engineer on Rula’s MarTech team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating marketing technology stacks to foster growth across our Patient, Provider, and Partner pillars.
• You will play a vital role in an autonomous, cross-functional team that prioritizes high ownership, rapid iteration, and technical excellence.
• Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Marketing, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to tackle complex challenges that affect how campaigns are launched and evaluated.
• This position offers a unique chance to lead essential technical initiatives and cultivate an AI-forward engineering culture while creating products that have a significant human impact.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a demonstrated ability to build and scale web applications in a production environment.
• Proven experience in leading high-priority technical projects from inception to completion, including the capacity to manage trade-offs and align stakeholders effectively.
• A strong passion for nurturing a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring of peers.
• In-depth knowledge of modern full-stack technologies—preferably TypeScript, React, and Node.js—along with a solid understanding of functional and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to enhance delivery speed, automate repetitive tasks, and improve code quality.
• A proven track record in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
