Senior Software Engineer – MacOS Endpoint

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create and execute components for our advanced system sensor that monitors all data movements across applications and files on macOS devices.

• Tackle complex performance optimization challenges: we are developing software that observes hundreds of thousands of events while maintaining minimal impact on the performance of endpoint applications.

• Develop and construct highly dependable code that does not compromise the end-user experience.

• Create secure-by-design, fortified software capable of withstanding real-world attacks, while handling untrusted data and communicating with a backend over the internet.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience working with Swift on macOS.

• Familiarity with building system extensions utilizing the Endpoint Security framework and Network extensions.

• Previous involvement in at least one large native application deployed to tens of thousands of end-users.

• Experience in debugging, profiling, and enhancing the performance of low-level system software using Instruments.

• Background in developing endpoint security products, such as DLP or EDR applications.

• Skilled in designing and implementing application architecture.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and SCRUM practices.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a distributed cross-functional team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Availability for regular communication with a distributed engineering team in Central European and US Eastern time zones.

• Must be located in one of the following areas: Bucharest or Cluj, Romania; Bangalore, India; or the US.
