Senior Software Engineer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and maintain backend applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and dependability.

• Work alongside cross-functional and feature teams to grasp project objectives and contribute to the technical strategy.

• Assist Solution Architects with technical architectural choices, promoting innovative thinking and best practices within the team.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.

• Help establish coding standards, review code, and ensure compliance with best practices.

• Offer technical mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 4 years of practical experience within the Java ecosystem, especially with SpringBoot.

• Strong experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Mongo).

• Proficient in designing and implementing REST APIs, capable of integrating them smoothly with various third-party services.

• Understanding of asynchronous flows and event-driven architecture is a plus.

• Familiarity with geospatial data (e.g., Google Places) and/or EV Charging network interfaces (e.g., OCPI) is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English is essential, as we operate in a multinational environment.
