Senior Software Engineer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance applications using Java and Spring.

• Design and implement solutions based on microservices architecture.

• Create unit and integration tests.

• Participate in code reviews and apply best development practices.

• Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Engage in a strategic project within the retail sector, focusing on continuous evolution and iterative deliveries.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team using Agile methodologies and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong experience with Java 11 or higher.

• Proficiency in Spring Framework: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud.

• Knowledge and experience in microservices architectures.

• Experience applying code quality standards, static analysis, and testing.

• Regular participation in Code Review processes.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Experience with messaging systems, particularly Kafka, is a plus.

• Knowledge of reactive and/or functional programming is advantageous.

• Experience in cloud environments and distributed ecosystems is valued.

• Strong teamwork skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
