Senior Software Engineer II – UI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify and clarify any ambiguities in requirements.

• Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of top-notch software solutions.

• Conduct code evaluations to uphold code quality and consistency, balancing long-term code health and maintainability with business objectives.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, web engineers, and data engineers to deliver robust software solutions and essential features that enhance our consumer experience and data platform.

• Analyze and address complex technical challenges promptly using a data-driven approach.

• Create and sustain thorough technical documentation.

• Engage in agile development processes, including ticket refinement, daily syncs, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience in building web and mobile applications.

• Proficiency in modern TypeScript/JavaScript along with React, React Native, and Next.js.

• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and responsive UI design.

• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo.

• Familiarity with Node.js and server-side rendering.

• Experience utilizing AI coding assistant tools.

• Proven track record in shipping production AI systems, LLM APIs, and exceptional AI customer experiences.

• Experience in delivering iOS and Android mobile applications using Expo.

• Solid testing discipline, including familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Native Testing Library, and mobile end-to-end testing (e.g., Maestro).

• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.

• Experience with development tools like Docker and Kubernetes (operating services in our cluster) is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to organize and self-manage tasks effectively, knowing when to seek assistance.

• Must currently reside in or be located within 150 km of Greater Delhi NCR, Greater Bangalore, or Greater Pune.

• Proven experience collaborating with US-based business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
