Senior Software Engineer II, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver product features from start to finish

• Capable of producing clear and well-structured design documentation

• Provide mentorship to peer engineers

• Drive decisions regarding application architecture

• Diagnose, debug, and rectify software issues

• Create back-end APIs using Node.JS

• Contribute to our front-end projects using React, Vue, and Ember SPA

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers

• Engage in an Agile software development lifecycle

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Maintain a product-focused mindset with an emphasis on customer needs

• Work with technologies such as JavaScript, Node.JS, React, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and more.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in developing web-based enterprise SaaS applications

• Proven experience in guiding high-quality work through delivery involving multiple developers

• Familiarity with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Ember, etc.)

• Experience in creating REST / JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI Spec)

• Proficiency in writing software tests

• Ability to independently resolve technical challenges

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field

• A strong desire to work diligently and continuously learn
