Senior Software Engineer – Government Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and fortify product features within a cloud environment governed by compliance regulations.

• Develop features tailored for AWS GovCloud users, including the authentication methods mandated by federal agencies.

• Create abstractions for engineering tasks to minimize friction in compliance-related work.

• Facilitate seamless feature development across both commercial and government sectors.

• Evaluate applications for security vulnerabilities and implement necessary modifications.

• Collaborate with product teams across various functions to devise solutions that adhere to security controls.

• Guide engineers in secure design principles.

• Assist federal customers operating in CMMC environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 7+ years of experience as a professional software engineer with a proven history of success as a senior software engineer.

• Direct experience in developing and delivering software using a high-level programming language.

• Experience in creating software that functions within compliance-regulated or security-sensitive environments is a significant advantage.

• Comfortable reasoning about security at the application level.

• Education or experience necessary for success; familiarity with Ruby and TypeScript is preferred, though curiosity and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
