
Senior Software Engineer β Government Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Design, construct, and fortify product features within a cloud environment governed by compliance regulations.
β’ Develop features tailored for AWS GovCloud users, including the authentication methods mandated by federal agencies.
β’ Create abstractions for engineering tasks to minimize friction in compliance-related work.
β’ Facilitate seamless feature development across both commercial and government sectors.
β’ Evaluate applications for security vulnerabilities and implement necessary modifications.
β’ Collaborate with product teams across various functions to devise solutions that adhere to security controls.
β’ Guide engineers in secure design principles.
β’ Assist federal customers operating in CMMC environments.
β’ Approximately 7+ years of experience as a professional software engineer with a proven history of success as a senior software engineer.
β’ Direct experience in developing and delivering software using a high-level programming language.
β’ Experience in creating software that functions within compliance-regulated or security-sensitive environments is a significant advantage.
β’ Comfortable reasoning about security at the application level.
β’ Education or experience necessary for success; familiarity with Ruby and TypeScript is preferred, though curiosity and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
