Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack, JavaScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive applications spanning both frontend and backend components.

• Establish system architecture, APIs, and data models for scalable product solutions.

• Lead technical exploration by analyzing systems, identifying constraints, and recognizing opportunities.

• Provide guidance on engineering decisions and assist fellow engineers through design and code assessments.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to transform concepts into actionable implementations.

• Write and evaluate code with an emphasis on quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding approaches, progress updates, and potential risks.

• Champion project delivery while ensuring a high technical standard is upheld within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in developing production-grade applications with complex real-world scenarios.

• Proven track record as a technical lead or ownership of significant system components.

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, as well as React (including Next.js) and Node.js.

• Proficient in developing full-stack applications that integrate frontend and service layers using contemporary TypeScript frameworks, such as React, React Native, or NestJS.

• Experience in designing and constructing APIs utilizing REST and GraphQL.

• Strong background in database management and data modeling across systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.

• Comprehensive understanding of system design, application architecture, and scalable system methodologies.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with deployment, CI/CD, and infrastructure tools such as Terraform or equivalent solutions.

• Ability to articulate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in creating clear architecture documentation and leading its implementation.

• Strong sense of ownership with the capability to manage issues from start to finish.
