Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance real-time security dashboards, event triage interfaces, and fleet management tools utilized by security teams around the clock.

• Create and execute intricate, interactive user interfaces — including canvas rendering (environment maps, robot positioning), data visualization, live robot video via WebRTC, and subscription-based event streaming.

• Take ownership of component architecture within a monorepo and contribute to a Storybook-guided design system.

• Build and expand the GraphQL API — encompassing queries, mutations, and WebSocket subscriptions — to support all frontend applications.

• Collaborate with Django models in PostgreSQL — focusing on multi-tenant data isolation, schema design, query optimization, and migrations.

• Deliver full-stack features from start to finish — covering React components, GraphQL mutations, Django models, and background jobs.

• Collaborate with the CDS and ML teams on the detection-to-event pipeline.

• Produce well-tested code with robust observability — including tracing, structured logging, and metrics.

• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, incident response, and participate in on-call rotations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• High proficiency in React and TypeScript — with a clear stance on component architecture, state management, and rendering efficiency.

• Experience in creating complex, interactive user interfaces — including canvas/2D rendering, real-time streaming, data visualization, or WebRTC.

• Backend expertise in Python and Django — focused on constructing GraphQL APIs, writing migrations, and optimizing ORM queries.

• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL — including data modeling, indexing, and query performance optimization.

• Comfortable working within a monorepo that involves shared packages, generated types, and cross-team code ownership.

• Familiarity with deploying to AWS and experience with containerized applications.
