Senior Software Engineer, Fraud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code by adhering to optimal software development practices.

• Engage in every stage of the software development lifecycle.

• Foster continuous enhancement by exploring alternative technologies and recommending them for architectural review.

• Suggest initial technical implementations that facilitate architectural modifications to address scaling and performance issues.

• Utilize version control with GitHub, manage conflict resolution, and automate continuous integration processes.

• Create and uphold comprehensive software documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in computer science, engineering, or related software development fields.

• Hands-on experience in engineering roles.

• Ability to manage medium complexity domains effectively.

• Strong understanding of web application functioning, including security, session management, and best development practices.

• Familiarity with relational database systems and Object Oriented Programming.

• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design; familiarity with Microservice Architecture is a plus.

• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment, quickly learn, and master various web technologies and methods.

• Proven experience in designing complex distributed applications that prioritize high performance and scalability.

• Proficiency in development utilizing Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS.

• Experience with asynchronous programming.

• Documented experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications, along with using monitoring tools for production application oversight.

• Practical experience in applying AI frameworks in development initiatives.
