Senior Software Engineer, Financial Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain hedge accounting functionalities that support effectiveness evaluation.

• Work in conjunction with Product and Delivery teams on user stories, sprint planning, and accompanying documentation.

• Collect and integrate client feedback directly into the development process.

• Create and uphold automated testing frameworks.

• Foster a high standard of engineering excellence within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in professional software development.

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Strong command of an object-oriented programming language.

• Proven experience in designing and developing features that encompass both frontend and backend layers.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests using xUnit or comparable frameworks.

• Knowledge in database design and development across both relational and non-relational systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
