Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and manage scalable software systems that drive Enterprise AI products and functionalities.

• Convert unclear business and technical challenges into precise engineering solutions.

• Work alongside product managers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and partner teams to provide AI-enhanced experiences.

• Take ownership of projects throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to launch, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.

• Contribute through code reviews, design discussions, automated testing, observability, documentation, and adherence to operational best practices.

• Help shape the technical vision of the Enterprise AI team by identifying opportunities, assessing approaches, and sharing expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on building and maintaining production systems.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, Go, or C++.

• Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting distributed or highly scalable software systems.

• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver software from initial concept to production.

• Strong ability to communicate technical decisions clearly, engage in code and design reviews, and take charge of complex projects.

• Preferred: Experience in developing AI- or machine learning-enabled products, platforms, or developer tools.

• Preferred: Familiarity with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent automation, model serving, or related Enterprise AI technologies.

• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and production observability.

• Preferred: Experience in enhancing reliability, performance, security, or cost efficiency of software systems at scale.

• Preferred: Capability to lead technical projects, mentor engineers, and influence decisions across organizational boundaries.
