Senior Software Engineer – Engineering Workflow, CI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Enhance Firefox development processes to minimize the time allocated for testing and resolving test failures, alongside increased integration and automation of workflows.

• Collaborate with a globally distributed development team.

• Provide mentorship to fellow team members while also receiving guidance from more experienced colleagues.

• Work in conjunction with other teams by offering code reviews and technical guidance.

• Analyze data, create dashboards, and identify trends within the Firefox development workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Python, including service development.

• Experience in front-end development, with a strong command of JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django), cloud services (e.g., GCP, AWS), and RESTful APIs.

• A solid grasp of databases and SQL.

• Background in CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and testing frameworks.

• Ability to work across multiple platforms, with experience in at least two of the following: Windows, Linux, Mac, Android.
