Senior Software Engineer – Engineering Workflow, CI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance Firefox development processes to minimize time spent on testing and troubleshooting test failures, while increasing integration and automation of workflows.

• Collaborate with a globally-distributed development team.

• Provide mentorship to fellow team members and receive guidance from more experienced colleagues.

• Work together with other teams by offering code reviews and providing technical guidance.

• Analyze data, create dashboards, and identify trends within the Firefox development workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, including service development.

• Experience in front-end development, particularly with a solid understanding of JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Python frameworks (such as FastAPI, Flask, Django), Cloud Services (including GCP and AWS), and RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions and CircleCI) and testing frameworks.

• Comfortable working across various platforms, with familiarity in at least two of the following: Windows, Linux, Mac, or Android.

• A strong enthusiasm for improving developer productivity.
