Senior Software Engineer, Engineering – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the engineering and operational excellence of our data collaboration ecosystem.

• Develop and implement scalable data architectures while enhancing automation through AI agents and self-service tools.

• Create production-ready software, reusable Python libraries, and AI-driven automation solutions.

• Guide engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and best practices in operations.

• Work collaboratively with product, engineering, operations, and data platform teams to convert repeatable business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production-grade software with Python, including libraries, services, testing, CI/CD, and conducting code reviews.

• Practical experience in building applications using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, or frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.

• Proven experience in designing AI-enabled workflows, reasoning agents, tool-using agents, or complex automation systems.

• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable technologies.

• Solid understanding of production system design, focusing on observability, reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and operational support.
