Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and develop the next generation of data infrastructure.

• Create scalable backend services for systems focused on data discovery and data lineage.

• Produce high-quality, maintainable code capable of processing petabytes of data.

• Take the lead in high-level system design and conduct thorough code reviews and technical contributions.

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable data processing and access utilizing cloud ETL technology.

• Develop robust, efficient, user-friendly, and fault-tolerant data pipelines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in machine learning and autonomy on data discovery and lineage platforms.

• Promote widespread use of the data lineage system while addressing customer pain points.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience as a data engineer or in data pipeline engineering.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Strong programming experience with Python and SQL.

• Proficiency in AWS services and solutions, such as EKS, Lambda, and ETL.

• Background in designing and developing distributed systems.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment.
