This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement scalable and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate as an equal with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders across Aledade to formulate and execute technical roadmaps utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers through comprehensive pull request evaluations and remain open to constructive feedback regarding your own contributions.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BTech or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience utilizing SQL or other database querying languages on extensive multi-table datasets.
• More than 4 years of experience as an engineer developing backend applications within a cross-functional team.
• At least 2 years of experience serving as a reliable technical decision-maker in a collaborative environment, addressing both immediate and long-term business needs.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience mentoring fellow engineers.
• At least 2 years of significant Data Engineering experience, particularly with DataBricks and various Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Over 3 years of experience in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, etc.
• Expertise in designing, constructing, and enhancing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ability to work proficiently with large datasets and familiarity with data storage technologies.
• Experience with data ingestion systems and optimizing performance for large-scale data processing and analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of database systems.
• Experience in monitoring and optimizing the performance of data systems and infrastructure.
• Experience in building data pipelines using Kafka or a similar stack.
• Understanding of database replication, sharding, and other scalability and high availability techniques.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in developing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of security protocols and systems that manage sensitive information.
