This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop and enhance data pipelines and analytical tools for scalability.
• Work in collaboration with both technical and non-technical sectors of the organization.
• Contribute to essential data assets for fair book of business allocations.
• Create and sustain semantic models for analytics and AI utilization.
• Construct scalable data models tailored for the HubSpot enterprise.
• Broaden the array of dbt patterns and macros.
• Ensure data observability and the reliability of pipelines.
• Develop analytical applications using Hex.
• Collect requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Document data pipelines, processes, and best practices.
• Share analytics best practices throughout HubSpot’s wider data community.
• Familiarity with contemporary data tools (such as Snowflake, dbt, and Looker).
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL, ELT, and data transformation.
• Practical experience with dbt, including modeling patterns, macros, and testing.
• Background in developing slowly changing dimension (SCD) tables from various sources.
• Ability to navigate through inherited complexities.
• Proficient communication skills across diverse platforms.
• Experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation.
• Involvement in cross-functional data projects.
• Knowledge of semantic models or metric layers for analytics consumption.
• Comfort with AI-driven development tools.
• Experience with version control systems (such as GitHub Enterprise Cloud).
• A collaborative approach with meticulous attention to detail.
• Cash compensation includes base salary and target commission.
