Senior Software Engineer, Consumer Lending Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable backend microservices as part of the Consumer Lending Team.

• Develop and oversee infrastructure capable of managing millions of daily requests while ensuring high security and performance standards.

• Utilize Google Cloud services and industry-standard tools to create and maintain distributed systems.

• Collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and other business units to provide financial solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and advocate for engineering best practices.

• Leverage user feedback and system analytics to enhance and iterate on platform functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficient or advanced English language skills.

• Demonstrated success in building, deploying, and iterating on software applications, especially in the Fintech sector.

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Experience in designing and implementing web services, including REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.

• Experience with A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts.

• Background in developing and maintaining payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-driven platforms is highly advantageous.

• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes.

• Dedication to continuous learning and keeping up with emerging technologies.

• Strong collaboration and prioritization skills within a team-oriented environment.

• Curiosity and/or experience in Fintech is beneficial.

• Equivalent skills in the specified areas will also be considered.
