Senior Software Engineer, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Java-based applications, customizations, and extensions within TeamConnect and associated enterprise platforms.

• Construct, maintain, and improve integrations between TeamConnect and external enterprise systems utilizing RESTful APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

• Create and manage backend services and microservices using Java along with Spring / Spring Boot.

• Develop and enhance frontend components with React JS, ensuring usability, performance, and adherence to UI/UX best practices.

• Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures to support functionality, reporting, and maintain data integrity.

• Assist in event-driven integrations utilizing Kafka, including producer/consumer implementations and message processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of relevant experience (Preferred)

• Practical experience in Java-based application development, including customization of TeamConnect (required)

• Extensive experience in building microservices with Spring / Spring Boot

• Expertise in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with frontend technologies and tools such as React and JavaScript

• Knowledge of legal matter management, billing, outside counsel management, and accrual processes

• Strong communication abilities for assisting non-technical users.

• Experience in collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
