Senior Software Engineer – Compute Control Plane

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development of a "Golden Path" reference platform utilizing Kubernetes and various cloud-native technologies.

• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for enterprise features anticipated from the product platform.

• Design and integrate cloud-native technologies and architectures.

• Establish best practices, disseminate knowledge, and provide mentorship to others.

• Collaborate with engineering teams within an Agile framework.

• Operate in an environment that promotes innovative solutions, swift development cycles, and transparent communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

• Proven experience in building and managing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services utilizing Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

• Strong understanding of containers and associated technologies.

• Proficiency in the Go programming language.

• Familiarity with Python or Bash for scripting purposes.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP.

• Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.

• Experience with CI/CD tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
