Senior Software Engineer, Computational Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, test, and deploy algorithmic solutions for LBPF toolpath generation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and suggest innovative solutions aimed at enhancing material quality and print productivity through software.

• Integrate engineering software within the wider factory application infrastructure.

• Participate in code reviews and develop robust code solutions suitable for a manufacturing production environment.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes to containerize and automate deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (or a related field) plus 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Advanced proficiency in C++ for production-level codebases.

• Strong mathematical foundation and a good grasp of computational geometry.

• Familiarity with Python programming.

• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and cloud-native architecture.
