Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Designing and programming complex cloud-native architectures and APIs (AWS Serverless, microservices) with an emphasis on clean code.

• Translating intricate client requirements into stable cloud infrastructures and effectively communicating this to both developers and clients.

• Proactively monitoring and optimizing application uptime, API performance, data security, and cloud costs (FinOps).

• Reviewing code, maintaining technical standards, and mentoring fellow developers within the team.

• Collaborating effectively in an asynchronous manner, documenting, and delivering code within a distributed, remote-first team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work and thinking level.

• Several years of experience in successfully building large-scale, complex cloud-native applications.

• Proficiency with AWS.

• Familiarity with modern software development practices such as Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Residing in the Netherlands.

• Preferably speaks Dutch.
