Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, improve, and sustain the NedGraphics and Optitex Cloud products.

• Architect, create, and manage serverless backends using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, S3, SQS/SNS).

• Create secure, well-versioned REST APIs and implement event-driven workflows (EventBridge/Step Functions).

• Establish automated testing frameworks (unit/integration).

• Enhance performance (reduce cold-starts, optimize concurrency, implement caching, and utilize CDN via CloudFront).

• Adhere to security best practices (IAM policies, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store, KMS).

• Develop dependable integrations with external APIs and internal services.

• Generate technical documentation and developer-friendly API specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development or equivalent qualifications.

• Demonstrated proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and familiarity with various Cloud Native services.

• Strong background in RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.

• Expertise in modern programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation.

• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect) and secure data exchange.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical area is preferred.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly sought after.
