Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the NedGraphics and Optitex Cloud products.

• Design, construct, and uphold serverless backends on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, S3, SQS/SNS).

• Implement secure, versioned REST APIs and event-driven workflows (EventBridge/Step Functions).

• Create automated testing frameworks (unit/integration).

• Improve performance (reducing cold-start times, optimizing concurrency, implementing caching, using CDN via CloudFront).

• Uphold security best practices (IAM policies, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store, KMS).

• Establish reliable integrations with third-party APIs and internal services.

• Generate technical documentation and developer-friendly API specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of software development experience or equivalent.

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and familiarity with a range of Cloud Native services.

• Strong background in RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.

• Proficient in modern programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation.

• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect) and secure data exchange.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
