Senior Software Engineer, CI/CD, Developer Tooling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Design and architect our CI/CD platform, transitioning it from a monolithic structure to a modern, modular system that is dependable and user-friendly for developers.

• Serve as a proactive senior contributor, converting concepts into actionable solutions, enhancing engineering productivity, and influencing roadmap decisions through developer feedback.

• Develop and enhance developer-focused tools and APIs (ranging from pipeline modules to standardized tools), ensuring they are dependable, secure, and user-friendly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in creating and managing reliable, highly available systems.

• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS), operating containerized applications (such as Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD platforms (like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and a strong proponent of Infrastructure-as-Code principles.

• Coding experience that goes beyond simple scripting (knowledge of Go, Elixir, or Ruby is advantageous).

• Demonstrated capability to lead intricate projects across teams, taking initiative and driving efforts independently.

• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, fostering trust with engineers and understanding their challenges to enhance their experience.
